There are lots of different things that I like to do in my free time. My favorite thing to do after school is to play video games. I play in the playroom with my friends or my sisters. We have fun playing racing games together. I usually win!
I also like to play in the yard with my dog, Sparky. His favorite toy is a rope toy that we can play together, but he also likes to play fetch with a tennis ball. I throw it for him, and he catches it and brings it back to me.
Another thing I like to do is read books. My mom is helping me read all the Harry Potter books. I read other books on my own too, though. I like to read stories about things like magic and dragons. I don’t like to read books that are about regular people. They are boring.
I spend a lot of time hanging out with my family. My sisters and I are very close. We can have fun just spending time together. Sometimes my mom and dad will get movies for us all to watch together. We usually have to get movies for little kids because my brother is only four, but that’s okay. We still all have fun.
When it’s warm outside, I like to go swimming. I take lessons every summer. Someday, when I’m as old as my sisters, I want to be on a swim team.
